Presented as a preview at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, the new SW5D3070_473 drive from the Titanio line is the programmable three-axis stepper drive that takes automation and motion control to the next level due to its advanced features that simplify integration and optimize processes, delivering innovative performance.

Thanks to the Stand-Alone mode with integrated PLC functions, it is possible to program and manage complex applications without the need for an external controller.
Programming is simple via the service USB port and our e³PLC Studio IDE software, with real-time debugging.

The drive supports various positioning modes (homing, relative and absolute movements, target) and offers advanced features such as Torque Mode, Electronic Cam, and Electronic Shaft, ideal for high-precision and synchronized applications. Equipped with fast inputs and outputs, it is the perfect solution for dynamic processes such as labeling, packaging, printing, and Pick & Place.

Moreover, the drive is Multiprotocol, with software configuration for the main fieldbus systems: ProfiNet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, PowerLink, and Modbus TCP/IP, ensuring maximum integration flexibility. Vector control and closed-loop management of torque, speed, and position guarantee smooth and silent movements, reducing noise and motor heating.

With support for incremental or absolute encoder feedback, this drive allows stepper motors to operate in closed loop for torque, speed, and position, drastically reducing noise, minimizing heating, and ensuring extremely smooth motion.
